The Coronavirus has affected many businesses, especially the Mount Kisco movie theatre. At first the theatre was only supposed to close for a month or two, but now that the pandemic has stuck around a change has arisen. The theatre was forced to shut down permanently after being closed for months due to the pandemic.

The theatre was operated by Bow Tie Cinemas, and it is now being listed by Admiral Real Estate Services. It has been open since the 1950s, and it replaced a previous one that had burned down years prior. The town is now trying to attract a new movie theater to open in its place. The theatre has been there for decades and people are sad to see it go.

The movie theatre had been going out of business for a while, so many saw this coming. Other movie theaters that were bigger and newer had opened up in the area making it harder for Mount Kisco to keep up. They had to raise their prices, which led to even less business. A lot of people went to that movie theater while they were growing up and now they will never be able to go again. It was a nice addition to Mount Kisco because people who lived in the area could walk to see a movie whenever they pleased.
