Several major businesses have been affected by the coronavirus. One industry that has been hit very hard are the airlines. American Airlines specifically has been impacted more than most. They have experienced major economic loss from the limitations on flights. The demand for these airlines has dropped significantly and they are being forced to suspend, restrict, and cut flights that are no longer profitable.

The airlines have taken precautions to protect everyone from the coronavirus. For example, hospital grade air filters have been placed in these planes to recirculate the air. Additionally, health assessments have been added as part of their check in, it is called the Ready to fly checklist. You must also say that you were not with or near anyone who has had the virus for 21 days before your flight, and there are also temperature checks.

This is an obvious one, but everyone must wear masks to protect themselves from the virus. There is now a touch less check in for bags, some sneeze guards, and they have guaranteed that they used Clorox for their disinfection. They are also using stickers on the floor to remind you to stay 6 feet apart. They’re working closely with medical experts to come up with new procedures to protect everyone. Finally, they will offer you a refund if your travel plans were affected by COVID 19.
